About

Dr. Ruslan Sulaiman graduated from University Malaya with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He joined Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM), where he was initially posted to Telok Datok before moving to Kajang Hospital and Kuantan General Hospital.

He was awarded a JPA scholarship to United Kingdom to specialize in Orthodontics where he first enrolled in a Basic Science Course at Eastman Dental Institute before moving to London University. Dr. Ruslan got a placement at Royal London Dental Hospital where he spent three (3) years to master the field of Orthodontics and was then awarded Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from Royal Colleges of England and Edinburgh the following year.

Upon returning to Malaysia, he was posted to many hospitals and clinics, from Kajang Hospital to Klinik Pergigian Sg Chua and finally to both Klinik Pergigian Putrajaya and Pusat Pergigian Cahaya Suria as his last two joint postings. Throughout his service, he had the opportunity to work with many other dental specialties for multi-disciplinary treatments.

Some of the highlights along his public service are in 2009 and 2016 where he was selected to undergo 1-month attachments for Orthognathic Surgery at both Royal Adelaide Hospital and Sendai. He has a keen interest in Orthognathic Surgery and Cleft lip & Palate patients. For his services to the nation, he was awarded with the Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN), which is a federal award for outstanding civil servants.
